I’m really excited to be writing this one, as its something completely different for me and this blog. I was never really sure what a favourites post was, and then I started reading them, and I thought it would be a great way to show a bit more of who I am other than all the books. So lets get into this, I’m just going to talk about some of the stuff I’ve been really loving over the past few months that aren’t books..There is only one thing that I could possibly start with that I have been adoring lately, and its a PC game that my boyfriend has got me into. It all started when we went and saw the Assassins Creed movie one afternoon randomly, and I could not get enough of it; of course he jumped on this as a way of getting me into a PC game. So he got me playing Assassins Creed Syndicate with him, taking it in turns to do the tasks; well started taking it in turns and then I started playing while he was at work or asleep, or pretty much just whenever I could. I love that its set in historical London and that you have the power to do pretty much anything you want to do. I’ve pretty much finished it, I believe there is only one or two tasks left and then maybe going around and collecting the objects I missed. I do not know what I’m going to play once I have finished it, hopefully I’ll like the other Assassins Creed games just as much.
Since I’ve been ill, I have had to spend a lot of time either in bed or on the sofa lately, so there has been a lot more TV watching going on compared to normal. There is a few shows that I have got myself into, some of which I just haven’t been able to get enough of. In just two days I watched all of The OA; this was super confusing at times yet that was all part of the intrigue of it. Although it was quite well rounded, I am finding that I want another series!!
Another two comedy shows that I am continuously watching as soon as there is a new episode are The Middle and Goldbergs. I just can not get enough of these, watching the new episodes and the reruns. I could go on, as there is plenty of programmes that I have now got completely hooked on, but I’m going to leave it at these for now.
I think the final thing that I’m going to mention for this post is music. Briefly and rather obviously, I have been loving the new Ed Sheeran album, but then again who hasn’t. The other music I’m about to mention aren’t actually that new, but they have been on repeat for me lately and that is anything by Sia; I’m obsessed with her, have been for a while, but lately I just seem to crave listening to her albums.
And finally, my car album has been Imagine Dragons, Smoke + Mirrors! When I first started listening to it when I got it at Christmas, I wasn’t overly fond of it, and much preferred their first album. But after ‘Gold’ kept coming on shuffle, I started to find I loved more and more of the songs on this album, and now I’m completely hooked. Only one I’m struggling to get into is ‘ Polaroid’.
So that’s just some of the things I have been loving over the last few months. Sorry its a bit vague and minimal, but it was a last minute decision to do a post like this. I’m thinking of doing this each month, or maybe each fortnight. so would love to hear your thoughts and what you’d want to see?
Is the OA truly worth watching??
