It’s time for another #Blogmas post, and this one is all about what I’m most looking forward to from Christmas. So grab a cuppa, sit back, and feel the festivities.

When I first started thinking of this post, the first things that came to mind were presents and food; but when I thought more about it, I realised that these were just the obvious answers and that there was other things that I find a lot more exciting.

1. Movies- there is something about Christmas that makes it acceptable to watch children’s movies, and this is something I love. Elf, The Grinch, Santa Paws, are all movies that I can not get enough of, but are essentially children’s films, but at Christmas they just become FILMS! I can watch till my hearts content with no judgement.
2. Bubble Wrap- I know this is a bit of an odd one, but who doesn’t love popping bubble wrap? I can sit and pop this stuff for hours on end, and there is never more in the house than at Christmas. It seems to always happen on Christmas, after opening up all the presents, that the bubble wrap gets put on the floor, and we all end up jumping around and dancing all over it. Its yet another excuse to be a child at Christmas!
3. Wrapping paper & Glitter- when else is it acceptable to have glitter all over the floor and on your clothes? Well if your house is like mine, then NEVER! All year round there is hardly any glitter around but Christmas day glitter can go EVERYWHERE and it just becomes part of the fun.
4. Walk after dinner- this is a simple one, but Christmas is the only time of the year, day of the year even, that my family will go for a walk for no apparent reason. I always look forward to our walk after dinner, as it just allows us all to talk without any distraction from the TV or radio. There is also something about walking in the cold, after eating a large meal!

So there are the main aspects of Christmas that I am really looking forward to this year, and have not got much longer to wait. What are you all looking forward to?
