I got this idea from a series of tweets that I saw one evening, sadly I’ve not been able to re-find them, but wanted you to know that this is not purely my idea. The tweets consisted of discussing whether it made you any less of a reader for reading some genres compared with other; YA compared to adult for instance. This beautiful book is just bursting with joy and happiness. Rydahl, born in Denmark and now living in France, looks at the reasons behind Denmark’s status as the Happiest Country; giving real life examples and comparisons between various other countries. YAY its competition time again, and I’m super excited for this one as I ADORE this book. I’ve talked about this a few times in the past, and for good reason, this is a really uplifting and positive book.

A non- fiction based on the reason why the  Danes are the happiest people on the planet, this is a must read. IT makes you stop and think about your own life, and has actually helped me to look at things differently to make me happier.

I read this book at a very difficult time in my life, but it really helped me to see the positive outlook to the most possible. If you are going through a rough time, or just want to make more out of your life, then this is a must read- plus it will leave you wanting to visit!!
