This has been the hardest review for me to write. I just can not come up with the words to describe just how well written, developed and unique this novel was. So lets start by thanking the lovely Titan books for sending me this gorgeous book to read and review, thank you. Continue reading “This Savage Song- V.E Schwab”

Booktubeathon TBR

Well this is a very last minute post as I have only just decided that I am going to attempt to participate in the BooktubeAThon 2016! I have never done a readathon, so this will be a brand new experience for me, but as its looking like I’m going to be off work again tomorrow, that give me plenty of time to read- with the exception of Friday and Sunday. I have formed this TBR following the reading challenge that have been set, however I do highly doubt I will get through them all….So the first challenge is ‘Read a book that has yellow on the cover’. For this I have chosen Terry Pratchett’s ‘Colour of Magic’, as nearly the whole cover is in fact yellow.

June Reading Wrap up & July TBR

I gave this novel 4 out of 5 stars, but to be fair I’d say it was more like a 4.5-it had me gripped from the first chapter, and truly feeling sorry for Todd.. Yes it has finally happened- I am back to paid employment. I have been aiming for this for quite a while, and kept hitting a brick wall when it came to getting permission; but now I have got myself a part time job working somewhere I think I am really going to enjoy. This is just another step in getting my life back together to the place I want to be; and I am so happy that this is happening, that I have an excuse to leave the house, be productive, and ha earn some extra money… Continue reading “Getting back to Work..”

April Wrap Up – May TBR

I’ve been saying it more and more each month, but April was by far the worst month of the year reading wise for me- I finished ONE book! That’s it, only one! However I would like to place the blame of only reading one book, on that one book; it was by far the best book I have read this year, and therefore nothing else has been good enough to follow it. But I’m not going to let this continue for another month- I have a plan…
