The Start of Something Beautiful…&Healthy

Its pretty common knowledge that I’ve never had the best help, and by gould it has become worse since the glandular fever that I had at the start of this year. I’ve been experiencing terrible fatigue, spending half the week unable to leave the house, and have to cut back on driving. Its been rather debilitating to the point that I’m now under investigation for M.E/CFS. But that’s enough about that as this is not meant to be a moaning negative post in the slightest, this is meant to be a positive piece, about how I’ve found a brand that has products that increasing my energy levels as well as helping me lose weight! Best part, its completely natural. Continue reading “The Start of Something Beautiful…&Healthy”

Blood Bank by Zoe Markham

Part of me feels like I’m a teenager again, reading a LOT of vampire books; cant say Ive done that since I was 14. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying it as much now as I did in my ‘vampire fiction’ faze. I believe the Blood Bank though, is truly unique to any of the vampire books that I can recall reading, and am really excited to tell you about it. Continue reading “Blood Bank by Zoe Markham”

The Things We Thought We Knew by Mahsuda Snaith

When offered the opportunity to read and review this book for the blog tour I just had to say yes; as a chronic illness sufferer myself and having previously been confined to just my house, I felt that it would be good to read a book around this to see how it had been portrayed. Although I’m normally more of a fantasy or historical reader rather than deep real life topic based, I really felt like this was a novel that should be read so that people can learn the struggles that some people have to deal with. Blood Rose by Danielle Rose

This one is a first for me, I cant say that I have read an adult vampire or witchey book before; sure I have read child or Young Adult books like this before, but definitely not New Adult or higher. Blood Rose was almost nostalgic in that sense that it was similar to story lines that I used to love as a child, but to some extent that was also its downfall. The Spawn of Lilith by Dana Fredsti & GIVEAWAY

Who can not love a good fantasy novel? This one sure is a good example of a book that has a little bit everyone. Cant say I’ve read that many urban fantasies, normally the fantasy I read is set in an almost medieval world so I found this quite refreshing from the normal things I read. This is definitely a cracking first book to what looks to have the capabilities of being a fabulous series. Continue reading “The Spawn of Lilith by Dana Fredsti & GIVEAWAY”

A Kings Obsession by Alison Weir

Well, I’ll declare now that I am going to be a tad bias within this review- reason? Purely because it is an Alison Weir book, and she has been one of my favourite authors since I first got out of reading children’s books. I’ve loved each and every of her past books, and they are all go to rereads for me, and ‘The Kings Obsession’ is no different. Continue reading “A Kings Obsession by Alison Weir”
