2016 Reading Challenge

As you have all probably picked up if you are following my blog, that I am a total bookworm. Each year I set myself a challenge, now using Goodreads, so that I am reading in order to try and achieve something. In 2015 I set myself the challenge of reading 24 books, planning on it being about 2 books a month. I am very proud to say that I exceeded this challenge, so I now know to set this challenge higher. To add, I’ve also got a different challenge to attempt in the new year…

Christmas Reading Challenge Result..

So it is Boxing Day, and that means I am out of time in my TBR before Christmas challenge- and all I can say is that I failed TERRIBLY. Peter Pan goes Wrong

My love with Mischief Comedy theatre group all started New Years Eve 2014, going to see ‘The Play that goes Wrong’ purely because of the cheap tickets! I left with a very sore belly after due to laughing so much at the pure silliness of it. I’ve been hooked ever since. To date I’ve seen ‘The Play that goes Wrong’, and ‘Lights Camera Improvise’ twice, was at ‘Peter Pan goes Wrong’ for their opening night, and still cannot get enough of them!!!

What I’ve learnt in my first year of recovery…

A year ago on 18th of October, I was admitted into hospital after my first severe Schizophrenic episode. Initially I went in with kindny issues, but it very quickly came to their attention that my head wasn’t in the right place, and I needed help. After that, I had to leave college, work and was pretty much under 24 hour supervision.
