Bed Rest Diaries #2 Part 2

To be honest, I was not planning on having two parts to this diary, Id been hoping to just keep it to the one. But as I have now been put on an extra five days of antibiotics and bed rest, I thought I might as well split it in two to stop it getting too long. So right now its Sunday, and with the extra five days, its not until Thursday that I will be back up and running. Lets see what I get up to in that time, and I’m praying I start to feel better soon. img_0341-3

Bed Rest Diaries #2 Part 1

Well its been five months since I was last told to go on bed rest so I should really be happy about it, but it is still so annoying.  After having a cold for a week, and doing all I could to try and get rid of that, I have ended up with a bad case of bronchitis. The plan for the next week therefore is a strong dose of antibiotics and a week of bed rest; and that can only mean another bed rest diaries edition.img_0341-3 Continue reading “Bed Rest Diaries #2 Part 1”

My break of routine…

From this title, you would probably think that this was a thought out decision, but it was anything but. I had finally fallen into a good little routine of posting twice a week, getting myself ahead by about a month so that I didn’t have to worry and all my posts were planned out and scheduled in advance. This was working so well, it meant that I was really enjoying blogging again as this eliminated the stress of trying to get posts ready for each Monday and Thursday. But as you have probably noticed, this past month, I lost hold of this routine.

Wheelchair service at the O2

So I very rarely get out because its so hard for me to move around, and my anxiety and psychosis really do not help. But never the less, the other week me and my Dad pushed through so that I could go and see the Script live at the O2 arena. In addition to being an absolutely fabulous concert, sitting with some really lovely people; the arena was also really helpful with my problems walking.img_0341-3 Continue reading “Wheelchair service at the O2”

Fear of Silence..

I talk about my mental health a lot on this blog, but I don’t always open up regularly about the really personal stuff. Pretty sure that this fear is something I have talked about before, but it is something that I’ve been struggling with again lately so felt that it would be best to talk about it again. A fear of silence is definitely a slightly odd thing, but for those with psychosis, it is definitely something that needs to be talking about. img_0341-3 Continue reading “Fear of Silence..”

Bed Rest Diaries #1; Part 1

Its not new news that I get told by Doctors to go on bed rest several times a year; that’s just all part of the joy of disabilities and a poor immune system. However getting told to do a week to ten days of bed rest on the week before Christmas really is just a whole new level of sucking! But I realised sitting here on my first full day of bed rest this time around, that it might be interesting to document just what I do and how I feel during this time. So here goes. img_0341-3 Continue reading “Bed Rest Diaries #1; Part 1”
