I’ve done a couple of favourite posts now, and just felt like doing another; I may even start doing it as a regular part of the blog, what do you think? So this is going to be a rare time where books and reading only shortly gets mentioned, so yay to that- I think, I’m not sure, I like books!! My Favourite Routine for Reading

I’ve seen many posts and vlogs about various readers ‘Reading Routines’ and I thought that it would be a good idea of a post for me to do; other than I realised that I don’t have a singular routine. Like a good avid reader, I read at every given possible moment that I have spare; including in doctor waiting  rooms, in the car, as well as just before bed or for pleasure during the day! So there it just isn’t possible to have one fixed routine. However, I do have a very particular favourite routine for reading! Continue reading “My Favourite Routine for Reading”

‘A Pocketful of Crows’ by Joanne M Harris

This book, well where to start? Start with the obvious, the cover is STUNNING; normally I don’t like a hard cover with out a jacket, but if you’re going to put that much effort into making it beautiful then you are forgiven! A modern fairy tale, full of love, betrayal and revenge, this was just the perfect like quick read package. I don’t think there will be anything I could complain about with this book.  Continue reading “‘A Pocketful of Crows’ by Joanne M Harris”

Autumn and Winter Reading Plan

So I guess you could say that this is a bit late with it being November and all, but lets be honest, Ive been anything but on top of my blogging lately. But I’m now going to start coming back, mostly with bookish and possibly festive things I think, but just going to see how it goes mainly. At some point I may write about why again I had to walk away, though for now I just want to enjoy being back. Continue reading “Autumn and Winter Reading Plan”

Why I had to leave….

So this is going to be a rather waffle based post as I need to explain a few things. Its been quite some time since I last posted a blog post, and quite a while longer since I had written anything from the heart, with passion and whole-hearted truth behind it. This had nothing to do with my love for what I do, but rather because I put my walls up internally, now I’m going to try my best to bring them down and explain the battle that has been going on in myself. The Start of Something Beautiful…&Healthy

Its pretty common knowledge that I’ve never had the best help, and by gould it has become worse since the glandular fever that I had at the start of this year. I’ve been experiencing terrible fatigue, spending half the week unable to leave the house, and have to cut back on driving. Its been rather debilitating to the point that I’m now under investigation for M.E/CFS. But that’s enough about that as this is not meant to be a moaning negative post in the slightest, this is meant to be a positive piece, about how I’ve found a brand that has products that increasing my energy levels as well as helping me lose weight! Best part, its completely natural. Continue reading “The Start of Something Beautiful…&Healthy”

Blood Bank by Zoe Markham

Part of me feels like I’m a teenager again, reading a LOT of vampire books; cant say Ive done that since I was 14. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying it as much now as I did in my ‘vampire fiction’ faze. I believe the Blood Bank though, is truly unique to any of the vampire books that I can recall reading, and am really excited to tell you about it. Continue reading “Blood Bank by Zoe Markham”
