Life Goals 2018

I’m not too sure if I did this last year, but I know that I always think about what I want to achieve with my reading, but with the year I’ve had, I really think that it would be good for me to set myself some aims of what I want to achieve in my life during 2018. With my health conditions, its really quite hard to for me to predict what will happen in the next month let alone the year, but I think for the sake of my mental health, I need some clear cut goals. So here we go. img_0341-3 Continue reading “Life Goals 2018”

Hunted by Meagan Spooner

The fact I picked this up during a readathon tells you that I was expecting to do nothing but love this and fly through it; oh how I wish that had happened. The concept still now intrigues me, and is something I would love to read, but I just was so disappointed by this; I really did, do, want to love every second of this book, but I just didn’t. Beware of slight spoilers. Continue reading “Hunted by Meagan Spooner”

November Wrap Up

Yes, I actually managed to read enough books this month to warrant a wrap up, that is a first in a while. The readathon this month has really helped, as it got me to finish Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban, as well as read several books in a week. So this month has mostly been a month of Young Adult fantasy books, as that’s just the mood that I have been in lately; and thankfully, I’d say only one of them has been a disappointment and I didn’t actually finish that this month so I’ll wait till my December wrap up to go into that. The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid

I went into this with very little expectations, for a start for some reason I thought it was going to be a fantasy rather than a Sci-Fi when I started, and then I just expected the normal very tropy Young Adult novel. However it very quickly had me glued to its pages, and I devoured absolutely every second of it. Full of strong characters, beautiful settings and really twisty turning plot, this is not one to miss out on. img_0334 Continue reading “The Diabolic by SJ Kincaid”

Minimoji Diary Days 5-8

Well the first half of this readathon went just so well, I don’t think it could of gone much better really; here is to hoping the second half goes just as well. Although I do have a lot more to do this half with a university assignment to do, and have my Nan over, though I’m hopefully. But with it being Tuesday when I’m only just getting round to doing this then I think its a sign of it not going well. Continue reading “Minimoji Diary Days 5-8”

3 Years with my BabyBoys

It’s so exciting that I’m getting to write this post, as there has been times this year where I didn’t think we would get to this point; but I have officially had the pleasure of calling my little boys mine for three whole years. Okay so this may seem like a very little thing, but my gerbils are my fur babies and mean an awful lot to me. At the full age of three, my babies are starting to get a little old, and its been touch and go at times whether or not Drip was able to keep going; but he has, and my boys are both so healthy and doing well now.IMG_0070  Continue reading “3 Years with my BabyBoys”

Minimoji diary Days1-4

MY first readathon in ages has been so fun so far; remembering why I love them. Getting to come up with fun TBRs that I know will be impossible, but thinking about all the books and whether they fit the challenges just puts me into such a good little reading mood. Plus you know the whole excuse of ‘I have to read, I’m participating in a readathon’! I love it, seems to work on my family every time. Though would be great if it worked on university as an excuse to not do my first assignment! Continue reading “Minimoji diary Days1-4”

#Minimoji readathon TBR

So this week has been a rocky one to say the least; between another kidney issue, what is appearing to be a cold, and a break up. Yes despite mentioning him in a previous post this week, my boyfriend and I have decided to just be friends for the time being. Therefore I need a pick me up, so I’ve ordered myself a really cosy looking cape from Boux Avenue, and now time to read lots so its READATHON TIME! Continue reading “#Minimoji readathon TBR”
