June TBR

Now that I am finally seeming to be out of my reading slump, I have high hopes for this months TBR. June is a busy month for me though, as Im going away and have my boyfriends birthday, which does mean I will probably do very little reading for the first week of June. There is also a good chance that there is going to be an exciting big change happening in my life in June that will take up a lot of time over the month, but sadly at the time of writing this I do not have the permission to say much about it. But lets get started as I’m being rather ambitious. Continue reading “June TBR”

Bed Rest Diaries #2 Part 1

Well its been five months since I was last told to go on bed rest so I should really be happy about it, but it is still so annoying.  After having a cold for a week, and doing all I could to try and get rid of that, I have ended up with a bad case of bronchitis. The plan for the next week therefore is a strong dose of antibiotics and a week of bed rest; and that can only mean another bed rest diaries edition.img_0341-3 Continue reading “Bed Rest Diaries #2 Part 1”

April Wrap Up

Aha, if there was ever a fail of a wrap up, its this one; so prepare yourself for a really short little read. Compared to my normal 5 books a month, I have really not been doing good lately. So not only did I only manage to read 2 books this month, they weren’t even proper books as such, they were both just comic books. I know, my reading slump is really in full force, despite constantly making me this it was letting go.  Continue reading “April Wrap Up”

A Breath After Drowning by Alice Blanchard

I picked this novel up on the slippery slope of a reading slump, but this novel halted that slide and was an absolute beauty of a thriller. Lately, I have not been reading many mystery thrillers and I feel that this allows me to enjoy this one even that bit more. It was unique, and dark, full of twists and turns; just as I thought I had worked out the ending, a final twist was thrown at me that completely flipped everything I thought I knew. My break of routine…

From this title, you would probably think that this was a thought out decision, but it was anything but. I had finally fallen into a good little routine of posting twice a week, getting myself ahead by about a month so that I didn’t have to worry and all my posts were planned out and scheduled in advance. This was working so well, it meant that I was really enjoying blogging again as this eliminated the stress of trying to get posts ready for each Monday and Thursday. But as you have probably noticed, this past month, I lost hold of this routine.

My top 5 favourite Disney Movies

On this blog I have been thinking that I would love to start having posts on other topics that I enjoy, and what better than Disney to start with. Ive watched so many of the Disney movies, and am really trying to finish off watching the ones I haven’t watched this year. However, I really do have my set favourites, that I can not see changing. When it comes to the Disney movies, half of what makes my favourites my favourites, is the music sound tracks. So lets get into my top 5 Disney movies. April 2018 TBR

Okay, so this is a bit late, and to be fair I question the point of doing this one as I have fallen into quite a deep reading slump. For the past month or so I have been trying to fight it off, but it has now most definitely taken hold; meaning I have not managed to finish a book since the 18th of March! This is just not good for me, and find it quite upsetting as leaves me feeling lost. At the time of writing this I’m 5 books behind on my GoodReads schedule, so this is going to take some work to catch up on.  Continue reading “April 2018 TBR”

Emojiathon Progress Diary

I can not believe it, this is my first ever month long readathon. As I have been doing for readathons lately, I’m going to blog my progress here, but unlike the others, I wont be doing it every day as that would just end up way too long. Every now and again, I will just be dropping in and writing a little update as to what I have been up to and how I’m getting on with my reading. It is a busy month for me, with my birthday and a university essay due, so I’m not putting on too much pressure. Well lets go… Continue reading “Emojiathon Progress Diary”
