Minimoji Diary Days 5-8

Well the first half of this readathon went just so well, I don’t think it could of gone much better really; here is to hoping the second half goes just as well. Although I do have a lot more to do this half with a university assignment to do, and have my Nan over, though I’m hopefully. But with it being Tuesday when I’m only just getting round to doing this then I think its a sign of it not going well. Continue reading “Minimoji Diary Days 5-8”

3 Years with my BabyBoys

It’s so exciting that I’m getting to write this post, as there has been times this year where I didn’t think we would get to this point; but I have officially had the pleasure of calling my little boys mine for three whole years. Okay so this may seem like a very little thing, but my gerbils are my fur babies and mean an awful lot to me. At the full age of three, my babies are starting to get a little old, and its been touch and go at times whether or not Drip was able to keep going; but he has, and my boys are both so healthy and doing well now.IMG_0070  Continue reading “3 Years with my BabyBoys”

Minimoji diary Days1-4

MY first readathon in ages has been so fun so far; remembering why I love them. Getting to come up with fun TBRs that I know will be impossible, but thinking about all the books and whether they fit the challenges just puts me into such a good little reading mood. Plus you know the whole excuse of ‘I have to read, I’m participating in a readathon’! I love it, seems to work on my family every time. Though would be great if it worked on university as an excuse to not do my first assignment! Continue reading “Minimoji diary Days1-4”

#Minimoji readathon TBR

So this week has been a rocky one to say the least; between another kidney issue, what is appearing to be a cold, and a break up. Yes despite mentioning him in a previous post this week, my boyfriend and I have decided to just be friends for the time being. Therefore I need a pick me up, so I’ve ordered myself a really cosy looking cape from Boux Avenue, and now time to read lots so its READATHON TIME! Continue reading “#Minimoji readathon TBR”

My Favourite Routine for Reading

I’ve seen many posts and vlogs about various readers ‘Reading Routines’ and I thought that it would be a good idea of a post for me to do; other than I realised that I don’t have a singular routine. Like a good avid reader, I read at every given possible moment that I have spare; including in doctor waiting  rooms, in the car, as well as just before bed or for pleasure during the day! So there it just isn’t possible to have one fixed routine. However, I do have a very particular favourite routine for reading! Continue reading “My Favourite Routine for Reading”

‘A Pocketful of Crows’ by Joanne M Harris

This book, well where to start? Start with the obvious, the cover is STUNNING; normally I don’t like a hard cover with out a jacket, but if you’re going to put that much effort into making it beautiful then you are forgiven! A modern fairy tale, full of love, betrayal and revenge, this was just the perfect like quick read package. I don’t think there will be anything I could complain about with this book.  Continue reading “‘A Pocketful of Crows’ by Joanne M Harris”

Autumn and Winter Reading Plan

So I guess you could say that this is a bit late with it being November and all, but lets be honest, Ive been anything but on top of my blogging lately. But I’m now going to start coming back, mostly with bookish and possibly festive things I think, but just going to see how it goes mainly. At some point I may write about why again I had to walk away, though for now I just want to enjoy being back. Continue reading “Autumn and Winter Reading Plan”

Why I had to leave….

So this is going to be a rather waffle based post as I need to explain a few things. Its been quite some time since I last posted a blog post, and quite a while longer since I had written anything from the heart, with passion and whole-hearted truth behind it. This had nothing to do with my love for what I do, but rather because I put my walls up internally, now I’m going to try my best to bring them down and explain the battle that has been going on in myself.
